I touched your hand the other night for the first time
I caressed it with oatmeal-vanilla fragrance cream
And soothed the cold weather’s dry breath
I gently pulled every joint and squeezed between your palm and thumb;
I felt your energy’s warmth melt through my hands onto yours,
And I nourished you with our connection
Your eyes met mine; sincerely transmitted
And I, in a timid state looked down
But continued to allow my hands to devour yours.
